The Builder
Fill in your details on the left, watch the CV take shape on the right, and download it as a clean PDF. Free, no sign-up, no watermark.
Everything on this page stays in your browser. Your CV is autosaved on this device only, and the Save data button gives you a file backup; nothing is ever uploaded.
How to build a CV online for free
- Pick one of the 43 templates (you can switch at any time without losing your text) and set the accent color, font, and spacing to taste.
- Fill in your details: profile, experience, education, skills, languages, and any custom sections. Reorder, rename, or hide sections to fit your story.
- Click Download PDF and choose "Save as PDF" in your browser's dialog. The result is a clean, watermark-free PDF ready to send.
Frequently asked questions
Is the PDF download really free, with no watermark?
Yes. The full-quality PDF export is free with no watermark, no trial, and no account. That is the whole point of this site: the things other builders charge for are free here, and ads pay for the hosting.
Where is my CV stored?
In your own browser, on your device, and nowhere else. It autosaves as you type and is still there when you come back. Use Save data for a file backup you fully control, and Load data to restore it or continue on another device.
Can I switch templates after filling everything in?
Yes, instantly and losslessly. All 43 templates render the same content, so you can click through every design with your real CV and pick the one that fits.
Which template should I use for ATS systems?
Every template exports as real selectable text, which modern systems parse. If the job posting suggests a strict automated pipeline, pick the ATS template: single column, standard headings, no photo, no graphics.
How do I get bullet points in a description?
In any description box, put one point per line and start each line with a dash. The builder turns those lines into a proper bullet list on the CV.
Should I add a photo to my CV?
It depends on where you apply. Photos are common in much of Europe and expected in some countries, but discouraged in the US, UK, Canada, and Australia. Only templates with a photo spot show one, and you can remove it at any time.
